Tjapukai
A
generation ago, Aboriginal people living in Kuranda were almost
bereft of their culture. Fringe dwellers on the edge of white
Australian society, unemployed... and unconnected to their
traditions. A small group had a vision, a dream which involved
combining a love of theatre with their rich and ancient culture.
Tjapukai Dance Theatre, the very first Aboriginal tourist
attraction in this country began. Life opened in a new direction
and they have since toured the world performing at major festivals.

Andrew
Skeoch
Each
of Andrew and Sarah Koschak's nature albums is inspired by
their passion for exploring and sharing the wonders of Australia.
To bring you the elusive beauty of nature, they travel widely
throughout Australia, spending perhaps months, often camped
out in remote areas, seeking some of our rarest wildlife and
awaiting those special moments. As you listen to the recordings
, we hope you hear the diversity of our wildlife, the beauty
of their songs and calls, and the 'stories' of nature; a rainshower
or the beginning of a new day.
